Vernal Pond Life

Sunday March 26, 2017 9 am - 11 am (limit: 20)

We will visit a vernal pond with Matt Burne, co-author of "The Field Guide to Animals of Vernal Pools," and learn about the animals that inhabit these temporary aquatic environments and their unique adaptations to survive there. Take tick precautions and wear footwear that can get wet. (Hip boots or waders are recommended.) We will meet in the general vicinity of BNL; the exact meeting location will be determined later and participants will be notified of the location.
